Sat Nam,

Here we are at the Millis Ashram after just playing kirtan in Gurdwara. Jap Preet was very good at sitting up there with us during the whole program! We loved being there with the Sangat! Thank you Baba Siri Chand Ashram, thank you Kundalini Yoga Boston, and thank you Shunyam Productions for being so loving and supportive during our time in the Boston area.

Here is a quote by Yogi Bhajan that inspired the following poem, "Time to Listen".

"Prayer is when you talk to God, Meditation is when God talks to you." Yogi Bhajan

Time to Listen

I am holding in my hand

The flower you gave me

So many years ago.

You whisper and think I don't hear you.

I am that close.

I know what you have been saying

All these years.

You placed that flower at my feet.

Now that you realize

Your mind has been talking

Too much

It is time to listen.

It was lovely to hear your kirtan while I was working in the kitchen with the other langar preppers. BTW, it's Guru Ram Das Ashram (, but, Baba Siri Chand Yoga Center (, named by Siri Singh Sahib ji :-)
Silence silence and silence.
Dear Snatam: Today I am grateful for you. I had the privilege to attend both the service at the Ashram yesterday and your workshop on Saturday. Thank you for your wisdom, your healing voice, and the time and energy you take to follow your path. You are deeply appreciated. with much love, Amrit Nam Kaur

I want to share the deep gratitude i feel for my Master, Vasant Swaha! This is something I wrote with Him in mind:

Oh, let me be a horse!
So I can carry the Master wherever he wants to go
His will is mine
No objections, only trust
Obedient, attentative
Slowly learning the meaning of prayer

Oh, let me be a prayerflag!
Carrying the message of the Masters written on an empty surface
moving the hearts of people just as the prayerflag moves mine
Gently catching the wind
Understanding the meaning of prayer

Or let me be a kitten…
Snuggling up in the Master’s lap
Cosy, confident, comfortable
Supported, relaxed
In tune
Enjoying the meaning of prayer

And thank you, Snatam, for all the beautiful music you share. It is such a good companion on the Path!
